Privacy, Security, Cookies and Terms of Use

SoAdultos provides online services for adults, with the aim of facilitating contacts and interactions between people with compatible interests and preferences.

The service is provided through the digital platform (website and, when applicable, mobile functionalities), depending on Internet access and the user´s own equipment.

SoAdultos seeks to keep the service available and functional, however, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical updates, network failures, security or force majeure reasons.

SoAdultos is responsible for providing the platform, but does not guarantee specific results nor is it responsible for acts, encounters, relationships or behavior of users/third parties outside its direct control.

New features may be added to the service, subject to these rules and, when applicable, additional conditions.

The user undertakes to provide true, accurate, current and complete data when registering and to keep this information up to date.

The user is responsible for their account credentials (including password), and must keep them confidential and adopt appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access.

In case of suspected misuse of the account, breach of security or unauthorized access, the user must notify SoAdultos as soon as possible.

As a general rule, each person can maintain a single profile. Duplicate profiles, fake accounts, accounts in the name of third parties or created in bad faith may be suspended or removed.

SoAdultos may limit repeated registration with the same email or by other technical abuse prevention criteria.

SoAdultos is a service exclusively intended for over 18 years old. Access, registration or use of the platform by minors under 18 is prohibited. SoAdultos may remove accounts and content whenever it detects or suspects non-compliance with this rule.

SoAdultos may collect data provided by the user in registration, profile, supported communications, forms, and also technical usage data (e.g. IP, access date/time, browser, device and technical logs).

This data can be used to:

• create and manage the user account;
• provide and improve the service;
• personalize the user experience;
• prevent fraud, abuse, spam and misuse;
• comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests from authorities;
• communicate important account information, security, or material changes.

SoAdultos may produce aggregated usage statistics (without direct identification of users) for internal analysis, service improvement and support for operational decisions.

The user is responsible for carefully evaluating the personal data that he or she decides to include in the profile.

When completing the profile, the user authorizes that part of the information entered may be visible to other members, in accordance with the platform settings and available visibility options.

SoAdultos provides control mechanisms (where applicable) to help the user manage profile exposure and interaction with third parties, including blocking features.

SoAdultos does not sell its members´ personal data to third parties. The sharing of personal data may only occur:

• with the user’s express authorization;
• when necessary for the technical operation of the service (suppliers/technology partners);
• by legal obligation, court order or legitimate request from a competent authority.

Information that the user makes visible on the profile may be consulted by other members in accordance with the platform´s access rules.

The user is responsible for voluntarily sharing contacts and other personal data with third parties.

The user is fully responsible for the photographs, messages, files and other content that they publish, send or share through SoAdultos.

It is not permitted to use photographs from third parties without authorization, publish false, illegal, offensive, discriminatory content, or content that violates copyright, image or privacy.

SoAdultos may analyze, moderate, refuse, limit or remove content that does not comply with this agreement, internal rules or applicable legislation.

Photographs and content submitted by the user do not automatically become the property of SoAdultos. However, when sending content to the platform, the user grants SoAdultos a non-exclusive use license, limited to what is necessary to operate the service (store, process, present, moderate and technically manage content within the platform).

The user declares that they have sufficient rights over the content they submit and that their use on the platform does not violate the rights of third parties.

SoAdultos adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data and systems against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss or improper disclosure.

Despite this, no system is completely immune to failures, attacks or incidents. For this reason, the user must also adopt good security practices.

• use a strong, unique password;
• do not share credentials with third parties;
• avoid accessing public/insecure devices;
• be wary of fraudulent messages (phishing);
• Report suspicious behavior to support.

SoAdultos may request additional authentication, identity confirmation or security validations whenever it deems necessary to protect the account or service.

If you forget your password, the user must use the password recovery/reset process provided by the platform (sending passwords by email is not recommended).

SoAdultos may provide paid plans and services, with conditions, prices and payment methods that may vary depending on the country, campaigns and available means.

Payments may be processed by partner entities and payment platforms. SoAdultos may not directly store complete payment card data, depending on the technical integration used.

There is no automatic renewal of plans, unless expressly indicated in a specific future campaign, in which case the terms will be communicated to the user in advance.

SoAdultos uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure technical functionality, maintain a session, remember preferences, improve the experience and measure use of the service.

The user can configure the browser to accept, reject or alert about cookies. However, completely rejecting cookies may compromise essential platform functionalities.

Cookies can be used to:

• session authentication and maintenance;
• language/experience preferences;
• statistics and performance;
• security and abuse prevention;
• advertising and campaigns, when applicable.

Partners and external suppliers (e.g. advertising, analytics, infrastructure) may use their own cookies, subject to their privacy policies.

The user can consult a specific cookie page for more details, when available.

The user undertakes to use SoAdultos only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the platform´s rules.

• Do not create false profiles or use third party identities.
• Do not disseminate illegal, offensive, discriminatory or abusive content.
• Do not send spam, chain letters, malware or unsolicited mass messages.
• Do not disclose personal data of third parties without authorization.
• Do not violate copyright, image or privacy.
• Do not use the website for fraud, illegal practices or harm to third parties.
• Do not technically interfere with the platform (hacks, abusive scraping, improper exploitation).

SoAdultos may, at its discretion, moderate content, limit functionalities, suspend or cancel accounts in case of violation of these rules.

The user can request the cancellation of the account at any time using the means available on the platform and/or through technical support.

SoAdultos may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in case of non-compliance with this agreement, fraud, abusive use, security risk, legal order or serious violation of the rules.

In the event of termination due to the user´s fault, there may be no refund of amounts paid, in accordance with the contracted plan and applicable legislation.

Whenever possible and appropriate, SoAdultos will seek to communicate the suspension/cancellation to the user.

SoAdultos may contain links to partner sites, affiliates or external resources. When accessing these sites, the legal relationship will be between the user and the third party.

The brands, visual identity, structure, software, texts and other elements of SoAdultos are protected by applicable rights. Reproduction, exploitation, transmission or misuse without authorization is prohibited.

Improper use of the website or its content may give rise to applicable legal measures.

SoAdultos may update these conditions to reflect legal, technical, operational or commercial changes. When appropriate, changes will be communicated by email, internal notice or prominently on the website.

This agreement is governed by the legislation applicable in Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection standards applicable to the specific case.

Em caso de litigio, será competente o foro legalmente aplicável ao consumidor, nos termos da lei.

If any clause is considered invalid, the rest remain in force.
